Details

Matches will be a combination of Scramble/Captain's Choice and Best-Ball depending on groupings. Optional practice round Wednesday, then 18-holes (2 Nine-hole rounds), each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Teams will be selected by captains Wednesday night and match-ups will be determined by captains on the evenings prior to the next round in alternating honors.

  • Thursday Afternoon Rounds 1 and 2 (9-Hole Scramble / Best-Ball Matches)
  • Teams will pair up and take on the other team in a head-to-head match of Scramble for rounds 1 and 2. Scramble, also known as Captain's Choice, is when the best shot on each team is used and both players hit their next shot from that location. Alternatively, the teams will match up in a Best-Ball competition where each player plays their own ball throughout the hole, best score wins the hole for that team, ties are pushed.

  • Friday Morning Rounds 3 and 4 (9-Hole Scramble / Best-Ball Matches)
  • Teams will pair up and take on the other team in a head-to-head match of Scramble. Alternatively, the teams will match up in a Best-Ball competition where each player plays their own ball throughout the hole, best score wins the hole for that team, ties are pushed.

  • Saturday Morning Rounds 5 and 6 (9-Hole Scramble / Best-Ball Matches)
  • Teams will pair up and take on the other team in a head-to-head match of Scramble.     • Airplane Bottles to be taken in shot form (Limit 3)
    • Shotgun Beer? - Max of 1 per player per 9 hole match
    • Jello Shots?

    Rules and Scoring

    • All matches are worth 1 point for a win, and 0.5 points for a tie. Winning team has the most overall points.
    • There are no carry-overs in any of the formats.
    • Max double par on all holes.
    • Team with the most points wins.
    • All other rules regarding shotgunning, mulligans, shots, and side games/penalties are negotiated by the participating players in each foursome.
    • In the event of a tie, the captains will agree upon a tie-breaker challenge.
